Born at Kambuga Hospital on 24 February 2002, one of ten children from a family in Kambuga Town Council. School took me through most of southwestern Uganda before it was done with me.
By day, I keep personnel records straight for the Uganda Police — files that have to be findable, accurate, and kept for good.
That work is exacting in a way I've come to appreciate: nothing about a 50,000-file registry forgives sloppiness. It's also what pointed me toward building software — the same instinct for organising information, applied to problems outside the registry.
Outside office hours, I design and run two products of my own, both built for Uganda first.
A translation app for African languages — text and voice — starting with Luganda and other Ugandan languages, so people can move between them as easily as typing.
